This morning I added Facebook Connect plugin to this blog in a quest to make OpenPolitik more accessble and open to more users and networks.
I am using a plugin built by Spanish social media developers Socialable and is likely to take some tweaks to get right.
My main priorities for adding this plugin are:
1. Publish OpenPolitik user interactions (comments and discussion) outside OpenPolitik.com.au into those users’ own Facebook network and friends
2. Piggyback on Facebook’s community to add personality to user comments and feedback
3. Simplify and secure login process normally associated with commenting on blogs (single sign on).
